How Sponsoring a Child Works
If you choose to sponsor a child, the money that is given is designated into the Children’s Home fund. It is then used for the day-to-day operations of the home, which impacts all of the students. While your support does directly impact the child you sponsor, it also impacts the overall operation of the Children’s Home. In the past, when a student is sponsored, he or she has been removed from the sponsorship lists. Yet, moving forward, we want to allow as many people as possible to sponsor a student. This allows us to offset some of the costs that arise due to other children not having sponsors. When there are specific needs that are presented, such as a school uniforms, books, or some other need that is specifically pertaining to the student that you sponsor, at that point you will be contacted for more direct sponsorship.
Sponsorship is $40 per month and helps to impact all operations of the children’s home. This supplies food, clothing, and education for the students in the home.
